By measuring the radio interfaces, the electromagnetic compatibility as well as the electrical safety in laboratories accredited according to ISO 17025, CTC advanced supports quality improvement and – if necessary – creates the basis for approval.
In the environmental simulation laboratories of CTC advanced, products are also tested for their resistance to environmental influences or even – as in the battery safety tests – subjected to destructive tests.
The tests in the CTC advanced laboratories for "Payment & Identification" create the prerequisites for the approval of cashless payment devices, such as credit cards, readers for bank cards and, in addition, ATMs on the basis of a wide range of accreditations from the banking industry.
The range of products tested in the accredited laboratories of CTC advanced is broad and extends, for example, from vehicle subassemblies (e-labeling), contactless credit cards and hearing aids to magnetic resonance tomographs.
CTC advanced GmbH, based in Saarbrücken, Germany, offers its customers high-precision testing and certification services and enables international market access for almost all industries and product groups. This process is supported by competent consulting, product testing, certification and accompanying project management.
Andreas Ehre, Managing Director, Company Management at CTC advanced states,
"We improve our customers' competitiveness by providing comprehensive services and solutions for the approval of their products. These then help companies develop and implement product qualification plans, determine a product's compliance status and manage the growing complex regulatory requirements in the international marketplace. We are pleased to be able to support our industrial automation customers in all aspects of product approval, with wireless communications becoming increasingly important in this industry as well. Be it questions about the right standard for the product to be tested, the resulting tests or the final worldwide approval, we have the answers and also offer the entire approval from a single source via our experts."
For radio systems of all types and industries, CTC advanced offers the complete spectrum of conformance and development-accompanying tests for all common radio applications such as UWB, 5G, LTE, GSM, WCDMA, WLAN, Bluetooth, RFID, SRD, ZigBee, SIGFOX, LoRa, satellite radio, radar radio and others.
This includes radio testing according to international standards for Europe, USA, Canada, and Japan, as well as testing of electromagnetic compatibility, electrical safety, and tests for compliance with the health protection objective, such as SAR or EMF.
CTC advanced GmbH is a DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 accredited test laboratory, has RF laboratories for frequencies up to 500 GHz, EMC laboratories, 7 absorber chambers and 8 shielding booths, in addition to an OTA measurement hall, as well as an electrical safety laboratory, a SAR laboratory and an environmental simulation laboratory, where Li-ion batteries for a wide range of applications are also tested for safety.
At the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2021, CTC advanced invites you to visit booth #24 for personal consultation and is available to answer any questions you may have about testing and worldwide approvals for your products.
