Coding & Personalization Devices by RINAS at #WIOTtomorrow20

Concentrated mechanical engineering know-how for the handling, printing and encoding of cards and tickets

Rinas Gerätetechnik will be exhibiting for the first time at the RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow - but the company has been on the market for decades. Rinas has been supplying card manufacturers, system manufacturers and end customers with high-quality OEM and magnetic card write-readers since 1984.

Today, Rinas' technologies can be found in production and personalization systems around the world, which are used to produce, encode and print millions of tickets and cards with different technologies – magnetic stripe, smart card or RFID – every year. In the exhibition, the company will be presenting several technological highlights from its portfolio.

Monochrome Drop-On-Demand Printing Module

The Rinas drop-on-demand (DOD) monochrome variable data printing system uses state-of-the-art piezoelectric technology and is an important printing accessory for the Rinas range of MagStripe, RFID and smart card encoding solutions. The speed at which a plastic card or paper ticket is transported under the print head can be adjusted to the operating environment, which also determines the intensity of UV exposure.

CS-LWR: Ideal for Smaller Personalization Stations - With Thermal Transfer Printing

The CS-LWR encoder can personalize and read all three different types of ID-1 cards (MagStripe, RFID or Smart Card). In addition to the coding quality and technical durability perfected over many years, the system is equipped with a scanner and has a device for monochrome printing on ID-1 media (plastic/paper).

Suitable for 24/7 Operation Over Many Years

The personalization and printing systems consist of proven components such as card feeders, encoding modules, flippers and stackers. The components can be combined according to customer requests or requirements. The robust construction of the units is specifically designed for round-the-clock operation in harsh environments. Development, design, production, assembly and software - all from a single source. This enables fast reaction times and optimal customer support.
