Live @ #WIOTtomorrow19: 3D Wire Laying Robot

ruhlamat presents an innovative solution for producing of wire laying

The WCEvario3D wire laying robot from ruhlamat represents an innovation in wire laying technology. The compact robotic cell offers a new process for three-dimensionally laying (heating) wire on surfaces without the intermediate steps previously required.

Unlike the most commonly used method of first applying heating wires to foils and then bonding them to plastic surfaces, the wire laying robot embeds wires directly onto plastic elements of various shapes and contours. This enables more precise wire laying and saves time and money.

Thanks to an integrated force control on the wire laying head of the robot, it can traverse the concave and convex contours and melt the wire into the surface with a constant force. The wire laying process itself is operated with ultrasound.

The WCEvario3D is mainly used in the automotive sector, for which this type of wire laying is becoming more and more important with regard to sensor-controlled, autonomous driving. There are virtually no limits to the other possible applications in other industries and areas.

Join us for our presentation on October 29, Forum 4, on "2D and 3D Ultrasonic Wire Laying for RFID, Healthcare and Heating Components" or visit us at booth 9c and let us demonstrate our 3D wire laying robot.
