Next Level Tracking & Tracing of Laboratory Samples

RFID & Wireless IoT eliminate bottlenecks in the transport and handling of specimens!

The handling of blood and tissue samples – regardless of whether they are being transported or directly from sample receipt to examination in the laboratory – is unfortunately still prone to errors today despite extensive documentation and extensive safety precautions. Mix-ups happen or samples become unusable due to improper handling, or even manipulation.

But that doesn't have to be the case!

User Day
October 30, 2018
Darmstadt near Frankfurt,

Two innovative start-ups from Germany have taken on two special challenges. With medical and IT know-how, these two companies have created solutions that have the potential to fundamentally optimize processes in laboratory sample handling. And they will share all innovative details live at RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2018, on 30 October.

Automation system for laboratories

inveox has developed an automation system for laboratories to increase patient safety and efficiency. With the inveox solution, the refilling and labeling of tissue samples or difficulties in finding a punch biopsy will be a thing of the past. The development consists of an innovative sample container, an intelligent container for automatic handling, and a digital examination order that connects senders and laboratories in real time via a secure, web-based data and communication platform.

Blood sample transport fully monitored

The Smart Health solution from DX-Labtrack continuously records relevant environmental data such as temperature, impact, light intensity and position during the transport of blood samples in order to detect possible changes caused by improper handling. RFID technology is an elementary component of this solution for increased safety in sample transport.

Healthcare Forum on 30th October

Implementing digitisation concepts has never been easier, cheaper, or more promising than now in autumn 2018. All the required hardware and software tools are ready. Seamless tracking of samples and devices, efficient sterile processes, permanent quality controls – today everything can be run digitally, transparently, and sustainably. These and numerous other process innovations are not distant dreams of the future, but tangible realities, as the experts will demonstrate at the Healthcare Forum on 30th October in darmstadtium.

Best Practice in 6 forums on User Day

The User Day will focus on the transfer of know-how from realised applications. Digital applications for the optimisation of processes and offers will be presented with 6 different priorities.

Innovations in 4 forums on Developer Day

Product launches, the latest results from research projects, integration and standardisation know-how: the Developer Day features exclusive information that turns the vision of the future of Wireless IoT into reality.

The conference is accompanied by one of the worlds most important exhibitions on wireless IoT. Have a look at the list of exhibitors.
