Two innovative start-ups from Germany have taken on two special challenges. With medical and IT know-how, these two companies have created solutions that have the potential to fundamentally optimize processes in laboratory sample handling. And they will share all innovative details live at RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow 2018, on 30 October.
Automation system for laboratories
inveox has developed an automation system for laboratories to increase patient safety and efficiency. With the inveox solution, the refilling and labeling of tissue samples or difficulties in finding a punch biopsy will be a thing of the past. The development consists of an innovative sample container, an intelligent container for automatic handling, and a digital examination order that connects senders and laboratories in real time via a secure, web-based data and communication platform.
Blood sample transport fully monitored
The Smart Health solution from DX-Labtrack continuously records relevant environmental data such as temperature, impact, light intensity and position during the transport of blood samples in order to detect possible changes caused by improper handling. RFID technology is an elementary component of this solution for increased safety in sample transport.
