After a successful cooperation in 2017, the international RAIN RFID alliance is again partner of RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow in 2018.
And this partnership is based on mutuality: Anja Van Bocxlaer, founder and editor in chief of the business magazines RFID im Blick and RFID & Wireless IoT Global, is one of the speakers at the European RAIN RFID Meeting in Vienna on June 27, 2018. She will present a new film about innovative RAIN RFID projects from around the globe.
The speed of technology adoption picks up speed
The RAIN RFID alliance expects that the speed of adoption will increase significantly in areas other than the apparel industry, as the technology is ready. According to the alliance the wait is still noticeable but the RAIN RFID industry is ready to go and it is definitely on the cards. The IoT movement is not slowing down but rather continues to pick up speed.
“The RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow is one of the outstanding international events for the RAIN RFID Alliance. The congress is the place to be in Europe for all those who want to work on future topics to push forward the adoption of RAIN RFID technology.” - Steve Halliday, President, RAIN RFID
RAIN RFID @ Developer Day
The RAIN RFID alliance supports the worldwide deployment of UHF RFID technology and unites forces and concentrated know-how. Again as a partner of RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow, RAIN RFID supports the forum “AIDC: Standardization, Markets, & Challenges” on Developer Day, October 31.
Together, RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow and RAIN RFID lead the way!
In the exhibition, the experts of RAIN RFID support the know how exchange at RFID & Wireless IoT tomorrow. In order to create awareness for the benefits of UHF RFID technology, communication between all market participants – developers, integrators, and users – is essential for the spread of technology.
Educate to understand the benefits of implementing RAIN RFID
The RAIN Alliance was formed to create awareness and accelerate the growth of the UHF RFID market. The number of RAIN RFID chips shipped in 2017 grew to 18.2 Billion. RAIN RFID aims at doubling this number in the next 5 years. To get there, the RAIN Alliance members are working to make it even easier for companies to understand all of the benefits and the associated ROI in implementing RAIN RFID and to easily find compatible systems.
